Alan Kaufman, producer.

ALAN

Alan Kaufman is joining Next New Networks as a supervising producer (my favorite project he’s been shepherding so far? “My Dead Cat”) after a career pursuing media in any form he can find it.

As Alan says in his personal biography “Following a second grade class trip to Hofstra University’s TV station, all I ever wanted to do was work in television.” Which pretty much fits the guy I know. Like a few of us at NNN (Herb, me) he was in college radio (at SUNY Albany) and worked on a bunch on indie films. He came to work with Emil, Travis Pomposello, and me at Instigator Productions where we did projects for MTV Networks. He’s been online dependably for years with Radio Freakout, showcasing new bands from around the world.
Oh “Why Alan?” you say. A passionate seeker who is always doing great work and friendly at the same time is worth his weight in gold.

Thanks bud.
