Welcome to the first blog post on the first network for the YouTube generation! Who are we? Well maybe we can answer that by saying who you are. You’re someone who wants to do more with their camera than just shoot home movies. You’re an Indy Mogul.
Personally, I really like this network, the extra features on its blog, and how the team here is already weaving community submissions into the packaging of Indy Mogul’s first show, Backyard FX, where our host Erik Beck “shows you how to create special effects the fun and cheap way, and then subjects his siblings, roommates, and puppets to his creations.” Check out the first episode, embedded here — everyone’s talking this week about that “Where’s My Jet Pack?” book, but thanks to Indy Mogul, you don’t have to wait — with a little DIY movie magic, you can make your own tomorrow.
