Jessica Hricisak’s been an immediate hit as our Office Administrative Assistant. I’m sure she’ll be working on anything she wants real soon.
Jessica told us a little about herself recently:
“If you asked me a year ago what industry I saw myself in, without a hesitation, I would’ve responded with an enthusiastic, ‘publishing!’ Once I completed my internships at YM and Parents magazines, it pretty much confirmed that’s what I should be doing.” A self-proclaimed magazine junkie, Jessica found herself working at Forbes for the better half of 2006, but ultimately decided circulation was not where she wanted to be.
“I missed having interaction with people other than my co-workers and at NNN I have people at my desk all the time. The front desk is a good place to be if you’re a chatterbox. I’m at the hub of all office activity.”
A devoted John Mayer fan since college, she’s religious about seeing him every time he comes to New York. “I’m pretty much a groupie, but not in a Penny Lane Almost Famous kind of way unfortunately.” Other than Mayer, Jessica cops to having a slight infatuation with Hugh Hefner, founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy. “It’s hard to say Hefner’s degrading women when he’s got his own daughter at the helm of his empire. GENIUS!”’
