Michael Eisner in the house.
By Fred.Michael Eisner is an investor in Veoh along with NNN investors Spark Capital, and Dennis Miller thought it might be interesting for us to meet at Next New Networks world headquarters in New York. He came by last Friday and it was instantly apparent to me why he’s been so successsful. Immediately engaged, Michael toured our spaces and went one on one with everyone he met. Developers, editors, producers, assistants, and guests were all attended to with a smile. He had a long, spontanteous conversation with our friends/colleagues/roommates at Davidville about their new hit product Tumblr. All this before we got to talking at all about Next New Networks.
We spent time talking about television (he reminded me about his long relationship with our recently departed friend Joe Barbera) and how we saw TV and video morphing through the web, how talent is working (or not) in this new world, and how the Prom Queen’s doing.
Once he left “What becomes a legend most?” kept running through my mind.
Dennis was right. Thanks for coming by Michael.

Passed by him on Broadway as he was making his way into a limo. The man is gigantic. What’s the average size for a CEO? I’ve noticed most old media CEO’s are well above 6′0.

Ron, that’s interesting. Generally, I’ve not found that to be true.
