I’d love to throw a private concert.
By Fred.The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is a New Orleans styled street brass band recently relocated from Chicago to New York (check out their timely composition WAR). I see them all the time in Union Square and it just occurred to me what a gas it would be to ask them to come over for a small show for our office and some invited friends.
Right at the moment we’ve got a completely unfinished office space upstairs that’s being readied for Next New Networks (you can see it in the tank promo above) and it seems like a great room for a show.
(How come? you ask. Don’t know exactly, I certainly never have done anything like it before. Except that I figure that anything that makes me feel really good, like HBE, is something to share. And, if I share it business colleagues it’ll probably make everyone’s work better. I can hope, yes?)
