The Web Is Us.
By Next New Networks.A startlingly beautiful piece is up on You Tube right now. Given the space and what we are all making of it, I found it to be of multi-faceted relevance. On one hand it is the message itself, on another it is the fact that it is a response to another video - it goes beyond a message and exposes the depth of a dialog. Online. With video.

I have to agree, that was very inspiring. The Web2.0 movement was summarized quite well. Although I have to wonder how far “sharing” and “linking people” can be taken through the same mediums. (ie. pictures, blogs, vlogs, etc)
I wonder what “Web 3.0″ will be, how long can the internet as we know it remain, and what lies in the future? Rapid movement causes rapid change… what we know as Web2.0 could be transitioning into Web3.0, or beyond.
Food for thought. Anyone want to add to this? Go for it.

This is a gorgeous encapsulation of Web 2.0. I started college and everything was linear and on the pasge. By the time i was a second semester senior everything had changed and by the time i hit the job market, almost nothing was linear. It is amazing how fast the world changed. From the Commodore Vic and Choose your own adventure books to the new interactive universe.
